Residents in this area collectively won an impressive $12 million across various lottery divisions during the year. Not far behind was the beachside suburb of Glenelg, with its 5045 postcode recording a total prize pool of $11.3 million.

Several other areas also made the lucky list. The Adelaide CBD, with its bustling 5000 postcode, saw $9.8 million in winnings. Meanwhile, the 5211 postcode, home to the coastal community of Victor Harbor, clinched nearly $9 million. The Eyre Peninsula’s Port Lincoln region, postcode 5606, also celebrated with $8.4 million in prizes.

When looking at broader regions, the percentages tell a compelling story. Greater Metro Adelaide accounted for a staggering 76% of all major South Australian lottery wins last year, while regional areas contributed 24%.
