Firefighting crews across the region are locked in a relentless battle against a series of bushfires that have erupted over the past 48 hours, prompting a significant mobilization of resources from both local command centers and national defense units.

According to the latest operational update from the county’s emergency coordination hub, there are currently five separate fire fronts burning out of control simultaneously. In addition to these primary blazes, authorities have confirmed that four other ignition points are now under strict monitoring, with crews working to ensure they do not escalate further.

The scale of the emergency has necessitated a robust aerial response. Two heavy-lift helicopters are actively conducting water-bombing sorties over the most volatile areas, targeting hotspots that ground teams cannot safely reach.
